I reside in Oxnard, California where I live with my wife and work for an industrial robotics electronics manufacturer. I’ve collected knives as long as I can remember, but became especially interested in custom knives in 2008, after purchasing a hidden tang hunter from Ken McFall at the Solvang custom knife show. Since then, I’ve done quite a bit of research learning how to make knives myself. After making a few from blade blanks, I ended up making my first knife from scratch in 2009. I focus on hunters and skinners, mostly full tang, using quality stainless steels like 440C, ATS34, and CPM154, and using mostly natural handle materials. I visit the local custom knife shows whenever I can, to talk with other knife makers and load up on supplies.
